About David
David Westdorp leads every client engagement and remains accountable for the strategy, communication and commercial direction of the work. His role is not simply to generate activity. It is to ask better questions, understand where a client creates meaningful value, identify where credible opportunities may exist, coordinate the research and outreach required to pursue them, and bring useful market feedback back to the leadership team. Over many years in B2B client development, David repeatedly saw capable companies spend substantial time and money pursuing prospects without enough evidence that those prospects actually needed what they offered. That experience became the foundation for a more disciplined approach: understand first, research second, approach selectively, and earn the right to have a relevant conversation.
The principle behind the work
We investigate the questions ordinary prospect lists leave unanswered
Goodwill determines how we work.
Evidence determines where we work.
Results demonstrate whether our work is valuable.
David's interest in Metta. an ancient practice centred on goodwill helped give language to a principle he already recognized in business: the strongest commercial relationships are usually created when one party understands another party's circumstances well enough to offer something genuinely useful.
That does not replace commercial discipline. It raises the standard. Research before asking for attention. Distinguish evidence from assumption. Respect a prospect's decision when there is no fit. Pursue profitable relationships where both parties can create meaningful value.
If you have a valuable B2B offer and want a more disciplined way to identify and approach the right opportunities, let's have a practical conversation.
